The Snowy Day :: BY James H.

Two children looked out their window and saw that it was snowing. They were very surprised. The children's mammy said that there was no school today. The children had their breakfast. They got their hats, scarves and mittens on and then they went outside. They decided to build a snowman. They made the snowman out of snow and they put a hat and scarf on him. They put coal for buttons and eyes. They had a carrot for a nose. For the mouth they drew a line up and down. Then they went inside to have something to eat and a drink of hot chocolate with marshmallows in the cup. Tonight they gasped that it would be Christmas night. The snowman looked out for Santa coming....
