Once upon a time Kate and her Dad went on an exciting fishing trip. They got everything ready and they hoped that they left nothing behind. They set off. On the way they checked again to see that they had everything with them but Kate said, " Dad, Dad we forgot the most important thing of all !!" "We forgot the fishing rods !" Then Dad said, "We can't go back now, we're almost there". So when they got there they asked everyone "Do you have a spare fishing rod please ?" But no one did.

So they looked for any materials they could use. Dad found a very long stick just like a fishing rod. Kate thought it was an old fishing rod that was broken. Kate had some string with her. She was hoping to make friendship bracelets on the way home in the car. So they wrapped the string around the stick and they made a brilliant fishing rod.

Suddenly, they heard a loud voice. Someone said "There are no more fish left in the sea, we've caught them all !! Hard luck". Kate and Dad were very disappointed. They were sure there was lots more fish in the sea. "Well why don't we just try Dad", Kate said. Kate was very clever and she knew there had to be more fish so Dad agreed, " It's no harm to try". Dad got a good grip on the fishing rod, he swung it back over his shoulder and then Kate said "Release !!". 

It took a long time, they waited and waited. All of a sudden Dad said, "Look, look there's something pulling on the rod !". They caught a big fat fish. Kate said, " I knew it, I knew it ! I told you there was more in the sea". Kate wanted to catch one as well. She was sure there was one more in the sea so she got a good grip on the rod, she swung it back over her shoulder and Dad said, " Release !". A few minutes later Kate shouted " Help me Dad there's something pulling on the rod!". She caught a fish ... It wasn't as big as the other one but she was just a kid !!

When they were walking back to the car Dad said, "Well done, I'm very proud of you ". Kate said, " I don't think I'll be making any friendship bracelets but it was worth the fun !".

One windy night Emma, Jack, Mam and Dad were in the sitting room. They were having their supper. "Why don't we go fishing tomorrow", asked Emma. "Good idea, Emma", said Jack. "But I have to go to on a playdate". "What about you, mam?" asked Emma. "I'm sorry dear, I have to go to work. Why don't you and your dad go and catch me the biggest fish, and we will have it for supper tomorrow night".

The next morning, Emma woke with a spring in her step and rushed downstairs to have her breakfast. Not long after, the sandwiches were packed and everything was put in the car and off they went.

When they came home that night, Emma showed her mother the fish she caught. "That is some tiddler", said mam. "I know, lets make some fishfingers". "Yum Yum" said Emma.

One summers day there were two children. Their names were Tom Jill. They were just home from school. Then they got
into their football tracksuits. Then they went outside to play football. Then they were soloing, kicking, diving and passing. Then a wasp came by and then they kicked the ball at the wasp. Then it went threw the wasp and then it hit the shed and then it hit the glass off the shed. Then mammy came out and she was shocked.
Then she grounded them and she didn't let them have sweets for a week.They were so so so sad.

One day it was Danny's birthday and one of Danny's birthday presents was a football. The week after that Danny and his sister Sarah went outside to play football. During the match Sarah accidently kicked the ball at the shed window. Sarah said to Danny not to tell Mam and Dad yet. Sarah went into the shed to get the ball. When she came out of the shed she sneaked into the house to get glue for the shed window. Sarah gave the glue to Danny to try to fix the window. Danny tried and tried and tried to fix the window but it just wouldn't work. Then Sarah and Danny went inside to tell Mam and Dad about the broken window.

Danny said, "When we were playing football Sarah kicked the ball and it hit the shed window by accident". Sarah snuck in to get the glue to try to fix the window but it didn't work."

"Sorry", said Sarah.

Mam got the phone and phoned the window company. When the window was fixed everybody was very happy. Danny and Sarah played football in the garden again but were very careful never to hit the shed again.

Once upon a time there was a family called the Martin's. There were three boys and one girl. The girl was called Olivia and the boys were called Rob, Jamie and Stephen. Olivia wanted a dog for her birthday. When her birthday came she got what she wished for and callled her Suzie. She loved Suzie very much and played with her everyday. One day her three brothers played with her and they were called in for their lunch and left the gate open. When they came back Suzie was gone! They looked everywhere on the streets for her but they couldn't find her anywhere. When they went to bed they were thinking of Suzie and the next day in school they wrote about Suzie in their news. When they went home they put a notice up on facebook telling everyone that she was lost and if they seen her to ring them straight away. They waited and waited for someone to ring and a few days later they heard a knock on the door before they went to school and Jamie answered and there was Suzie with a woman who found her in her garden. They were delighted especially Olivia and she told her brothers to never leave the gates open again. The End.

One day a boy called Zac and a girl called Izabela came home from school. It was sunny outside. Zac said, 'lets play with our dog', but Chicken Wing was gone. Zac made up Chicken Wings name because Zac loved to eat chicken wings. Zac and Izabela looked everywhere for Chicken Wing. They checked under the cushions on the couch and behind the couch and everywhere else in the house. They looked in the bathroom because Chicken Wing loved to drink from the toilet. They checked outside as well. He was not behind the bushes or the slide or behind any of their toys so they looked on the computer to find posters to put up on trees to help them find Chicken Wing. They put up 90 posters so if other people found him they can bring him home to Zac and Izabela so they can play with him. Then they heard a knock at the door. They thought it was Mammy home from the shops but it was their neighbour with Chicken Wing. Yippeeeee now we can play with Chicken Wing. Me and Izabela love Chicken Wing. Mammy made him his favourite dinner. It is chinese food and dog food. Chicken Wing gets to sleep on Zac and Izabelas bed tonight!

One day Jessica and Sam went out the back. When they looked in the dog kennel, Charlie their dog was no where to be seen...."Where could he be"? asked Sam. " I don't know, lets ask Dad", said Jessica. When they told Dad he got a fright, "I have an idea", said Daddy, "lets print out pictures on the computer of Charlie and give them out around the neighbourhood". "That's a great idea", said Jessica and Sam. 
So Daddy printed off the pictures and off they went to give the posters of Charlie around. One of the neighbours daughters went to her back garden to see if Charlie was there and would you believe it, Charlie was in the cat bed fast asleep with Molly the cat. When Molly's owner saw this she picked up Charlie and brought him back home to Daddy, Jessica and Sam. They were so so so happy to see Charlie and Charlie and Molly are best friends now. They had a great day.

Once upon time James and Leigh asked mam if they could they play out side. They saw a pussycat. 'Look Leigh', said James, why did she run up the tree?' Quick, said James, 'call mam quickly before Jesse falls off the tree'. 'I will call the firebrigade', said mam'. 'I will be there straight away', said Sam. The phone rang, 'hello', said mam, 'who is it?' 'It's me', said Sam , 'I'm delayed on the M50 road'. 'Oh no', said Mam. James remembered the ladder in the shed. 'It's locked' ,said Leigh. 'Don't worry', said Mam , I know where the key is. Mam rushed inside, 'I found it', said Mam. Mam opened the shed and got the ladder and rescued the cat. 'Yay',said Leigh, 'yay', said James Mam. James and Leigh brought the pussycat back to its owner who was very happy. She brought them in to her house for tea and cake and a special little meal for the pussycat. 'Thank you', said James and Leigh to the lady. 'You're welcome, call to see the pussycat anytime', said the owner. 'Come on we must go home now', said Mam. Leigh and James went straight to bed when they went home as they were very tired after their big day. 

It was a lovely summers day in the garden. James and Kate were playing with Felix the cat. Felix wanted to play a different game called 'chase'. 'You're. on', purred Felix the cat and with that he ran up the tree. Kate said to Tom "Where did Felix go?" ."I don't know", said Tom. Then Tom looked up into the tree in the garden and saw Felix up in the tree. "There he is Kate", Tom said as he pointed up into the tree. Kate said, " let's tell Mammy" and that is exactly what they did. Mammy got a ladder from the shed and climbed up and got Felix down from the tree. Kate said to Tom, "I think Felix won that game of chase", and they both laughed!
