​Euro 2016 Celebrations.
We started celebrating the Euro 2016 Football Tournament on the 10/6/16. Children coloured in pictures, painted flags, designed football kits, made hats, completed word searches, did football sums and lots more. They learned about France and the flags and kits of the participating countries. We also had a T shirt day where the children wore T shirts representing different countries.
The highlight of the celebrations was the “Design a flag for the Euros” Competition. The children had to design a flag for any participating country of their choice. The children showed such enthusiasm and creativity.  Two entries from each class made it through to the finals. We were so impressed by the high standard and it was really difficult to choose a winner for each year group.
