Well done to all the boys and girls who entered our World Cup Art Competition. Here are our winners!

Room 13 made this animation for the Fís animation project.

World Cup Fever seems to have taken over the school. This year we decided to combine Mad Hair Day with the start of the World Cup Tournament on the 12th of June.

The children sported mad hair styles and dressed up in the kits/colours/costumes of different countries. A fantastic effort was made by everyone and they shared great imagination and ingenuity. Well done everybody!

Lots of children coloured in or painted the flags and football kits of the participating countries. Some children learned lots of interesting facts about Brazil and the World Cup. Others took part in quizes and The World Cup draws. Some lovely written work was displayed and Football Sums were spotted here and there. The children will also partake in an Art Competition where they have to design a 'dream football kit' for a country of their choice. They are all so enthusiastic, it will be hard to pick a winner!

Good luck to everyone and have a fabulous time celebrating the World Cup over the next few weeks. Thanks a million to all the parents for your support and contributions on the day. It was very much appreciated!
