![]() After close to four decades of service to St. Cronan's Mr. McAuliffe has retired. Many past pupils, colleagues and friends gathered in the school library to wish him the best. His presence will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to work with him. Go n-eirí an bóthar leat! This year Chinese New Year started on the 23rd January and the
celebrations lasted for two weeks. This is the year of the dragon and the children in St. Cronan's had lots of fun making all sorts of fire breathing beasts! They also learned about the traditions surrounding Chinese New Year and listened to the story of how the years were named after animals by an emperor many years ago. It was fun finding out what animal they were. |
