We had lots of fun in the Pavilions today. Thank you so much to Mr. Clarke for inviting us. First we went to visit Santa in his grotto. We were chatting to the elves and then we met Santa. He was very nice and he gave us all a present! We sang our Christmas Alphabet song and our rap as Gaeilge, 'Daidí na Nollag'. A photographer from the Fingal Independent and the North County Leader took our picture. Hopefully we will all be in these newspapers soon! ![]() Next we went to the Pedestrian Crossing. We all remembered our rhyme: STOP, LOOK, LISTEN before you cross the street. Use your eyes and your ears and then use your feet. The Pavilions ran a competition to name each of their pedestrian crossings. Well done to all the clever cats who entered! The three winners were: Ben Byrne - "The Shoppers' Run" Heather Ruane - "Tip Toe Crossing" Billy Sexton - "Pav's Crossing" The new names will be erected at each crossing in January 2013. ![]() The children were so good Mr. Clarke had one more treat for them... a trip around the Pavilions on the train! We were singing, 'Is Mise Tiománaí traenach'. Comments are closed.
