Maths Week

We have been enjoying Maths Trails during Maths Week! We were counting in the courtyard, calculating in the classroom and computing in the car park!

All excited about heading outside for the courtyard maths trail!

Classroom maths trail. How many triangles, squares, circles, rectangles? How many cubes, cuboids and spheres? How many boys and girls? Ask your child how we estimated and how we found out how many children are in our school?

How many blue, red, black and green cars are in the car park? How many are parked in each row?

Identifying all the odd and even numbers from a registration plate and then adding all the numbers together.

Counting how many cars drove past in one minute.

How many children do we need to cover the length of the walkway?
