![]() Maths is all around us. Prices on menus, the number on a football shirt, a wheel is a circle, cylinder kitchen roll, a car registration number. The children in room 4 were able to think of 30 ways that maths is around us. On Thursday 25th October we went on a maths trail in the meadow. We worked in pairs and we counted the trees, made a set of 7 stones, collected 3 twigs and 5 leaves. The children worked as Maths Detectives at home too. They brought in photographs and pictures of maths in the environment... patterns, 2D and 3D shapes, prices and numbers on food packaging. Comments are closed.
