We have been learning how to identify 3D shapes.
The children brought in 3D shapes (cube, cuboid, sphere and cylinder). They sorted the 3D shapes into sets. Then we discussed which 3D shapes could roll. We discovered that only the sphere and cylinder could roll. On Friday during maths stations we used 3D shapes to build castles and towers. Ask your child to identify 3D shapes at home!
