On Wednesday 10th December we celebrated International Human Rights Day. We discussed Malala's story. Malala was a young girl who was forbidden from getting an education. We were discussing how lucky we are to have the right to an education here in Ireland. We took a few 'Freedom' photos and entered a Preeda Ireland competition. Our freedom selfie won! Our prize is a school visit from the musician Damian Dempsey. Ms. Hourican gave us a copy of the book 'I am Malala'. Congratulations to Sam who won this book. He has already been showing us interesting photos from the book.
