Culture box

We made a culture box with artefacts from around the world.

• Caoimhe showed us a fly swatter from Ethiopia.
  Billy told us about the Indian elephant.
  Jake brought in chop sticks from China.
  Izabela made a Polish flag. We compared an English fairy tale book to a Polish fairy tale book.
  Heather showed us stamps from Malta and told us that Malta is in the Mediterranean Sea.
  Amber brought in an American dollar.
  Hannah had a Miraculous Medal from Medjugorje.
  Kaya made a collage of currency and photographs from Turkey. He told us that Merhaba means Hello!
  Alan showed us a miniture bus from Switzerland.
  Sam let us look at his book from Lanzarote.
