We transferred our nasturiums from their pots in our classroom into our garden box. Hopefully they'll start to flower soon.
We like the sound of maracas so decided to try to make our own shakers. We looked at a variety of materials such as seeds, cotton wool, coins, dry pasta, elastic bands, paper, paper clips, dry rice, corks and toy chicks. We drew a design and labeled it. Then we made the shakers. We listened to the shakers and decided which made a loud sound and which made a quiet sound. We had lots of fun.
We were working as word detectives today. We worked with a partner and looked at newspapers and magazines for words we knew. Then we cut them out and pasted them to a card.
Bhuaigh Sam Gaeilgeoir na Seachtaine inniu. Is feidir le Sam an ceist, "Cen t-am e?" a chur is a fhreagair. Buachaill an-cliste!
The children were listening and responding to the Mexican hat dance today. They moved to the fast and slow tempo of the music.
Bhuaigh Kaya Gaeilgeoir Na Seachtaine! Bhí sé in ann gach ceist a fhreagair! An-mhaith ar fad.
