What a busy week we had last week, On Monday and Tuesday we went to the Halla to practice our damhsa gaelach. We danced "Shoe the Donkey" and Ballaí Luimní (walls of Limerick) Ar an Deardaoin we saw a great show called "An Banríon, Beinní agus an Beithíoch". Bhí sé an-greannmhar ar fad, Ar an Aoine we had a ceolchoirm sa halla, All the Junior and Senior Infants performed some songs and poems as Gaeilge. We sang Lámha Suas an feidir leat and we said "cnag ar an doras". Mrs Manton presented a special trophy to the boy or girl in every class who made the best effort to speak Irish all week, It was very hard for teacher to choose but in the end I picked Pierce for Gaeilgeoir na ranga because he tries his hardest all of the time to speak as Gaeilge. Maith thú Pierce.
