We went on a tour of the school and took the digital camera with us. Teacher showed us how to use it carefully and then she let us take some photographs. Here are the results - do you think we are good photographers ?
How you can help at home:
I will not be giving formal homework for another few weeks - I feel the day is long enough at the moment and the children are tired. But there are some things you can be doing at home to help your child:
We had fun exploring and playing the percussion instruments. We sang and played along to Twinkle Twinkle, Humpty Dumpty, Hey Diddle Diddle and Baa Baa Black Sheep. We were very good at keeping a beat. Some of the children were at their language lesson with Ms Hourican so they will get a turn next time. We are having fun meeting our new friends in Letterland. So far we have met Annie Apple and Clever Cat. Below are some photographs of us doing our writing activities. We use chalkboards, whiteboards, sandpaper letters, rainbow letters and cars to help us write our letters.
