Our story this week was The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. We made pictures of The Gruffalo today and sang a song about him, it was lots of fun. Also, we had some special visitors, 2 Firefighters came to visit and they taught us all about Fire Safety, We practiced "Stop Drop and Roll, tried on the fire helmet and the fire boots. We learned that you must always leave the house as quick as you can if there is a fire and that there are 2 numbers for the Emergency Services 999 and 112. The Firefighters also told us that they are helping Santa on Christmas Eve. We finished our Learning through Play for November yesterday. We will have new Aistear Areas next week.
