Handa's Surprise

This week we read the story 'Handa's Surprise'. We really enjoyed it as it tells the story of Handa who is on a journey to give seven delicious fruits to her friend. Ask your child if they can name all the fruits!! It is very tricky!! We then painted one of our favourite fruits from the story. Can you see your fruit on our display board? We also created our very own 'Handa's Surprise' book. Yes- the boys and girls in Room 2 have become authors and illustrators!! We also had a colouring competition to see whose picture would be the cover of our book. Well done to Rachel on winning first prize. Her colouring was fantastic!!
