Our Spring Planting

Spring is in the air. In room 18 we have been learning about what plants need to grow. We planted our own cress seeds and watered them each day. They grew so quickly. We got to take them home last week!

Chinese New Year

We have been learning about the legends and traditions associated with Chinese New Year. We found out many interesting facts, watched exciting videos and completed fantastic written pieces about it. We are working very hard on our writing and always remember our WALT and WILF to make sure our writing

The Children of Lir

We have spent this week learning about the Irish legend 'The Children of Lir'. It is a sad story about four children who are turned into swans by their evil stepmother. We sequenced pictures from the story and wrote all about it. Our teacher was very impressed. Take a look at our display.

Road Safety

We all know how super important road safety is in room 18. All of the boys and girls worked extra hard to learn the safe cross code. They were so good that I awarded them with certificates and badges for being excellent 'Seatbelt sherrifs'! Well done!
