we made a jesse tree with seamus

Seamus is our very special friend who comes to visit us every Friday to talk about God and our faith and to pray with us. He tells us lots of nice stories from the Bible and answers any questions that we might have about our religion. We really enjoy talking to Seamus when he comes in to see us.

This week he told us all about the Jesse Tree. We each got a special symbol that represents a day on the advent calendar. We talked about the pictures and then coloured them in. We then cut them out, and glued them onto some special purple card and tied a ribbon on them. Seamus then helped us to hang the symbols on our Jesse Tree.
