This week we read the story 'The Enormous Crocodile' by Roald Dahl. In the story the nasty, mean crocodile leaves his jungle swamp to find some juicy children to eat for his dinner. But his horrible tricks are stopped just in time by the other jungle animals. We loved hearing the story so much we decided to make our own crocodiles out of clay. We really got our hands dirty:) We rolled, twisted, pinched and shaped the clay to make the crocodiles body. We then used lollipop sticks to make his legs. Some of us used the lollipop sticks to make spikey teeth just like Roald Dahl describes in the story. Can you name any other stories by the author Roald Dahl?
