We love doing Science experiments in room 11 especially at Halloween. We made a magic potion using lots of different spooky ingredients. Check out our recipe for a Halloween magic potion below.

Exploding Magic Potion

Ingredients
1. green slime (fairy liquid)
2. vinegar
3. magic dust (glitter)
4. ghost powder (bi-carb soda)
5. blood (food dye)
6. glass jar

Method:
First you need to take your jar and place it on a sheet of paper. Next you add a big squirt of the green slime. Then you add a sprinkle of the magic dust. Next you pour a large measure of the vinegar. Eww stinky! Then you pour a large measure of the blood. Finally you add a large amount of the magic ghost powder and stand back.

Now that we are in First class we will be learning lots of new and challenging things in school especially in Maths.

This week in maths we are learning all about Doubles and Skip counting. We learnt two great new songs that help us to learn these tricky new concepts.
