Way back in Autumn, we planted lots of bulbs in our garden box. Well, lots of plants have grown - snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils. We are still waiting on the alliums to grow, they will be the tallest. We must have green fingers! We enjoyed Seachtain na Gaeilge - speaking Irish, the concert, learning new Irish dances and getting dressed up for the ceili. We did great dancing - no bruised toes at all! In March, we had our school art exhibition. We enjoyed seeing our self - portraits framed and hung so beautifully. Here are four of our artists beside their pictures. I'm sure you can see the likenesses. Every Thursday in the second term, we enjoyed a visit from Nicky, who comes from Fingallians GAA. We have been doing football and hurling training. It is great fun and the children have learned lots of skills. Doesn't our hurling photo look very professional! |
