We had a super spooky day in room 2a today. We felt some disgusting 'body parts', pinned the wart on the witch and raced to mummify each other! Have a look at some of our pictures, happy Halloween!

Today was our last GAA session with Nicky. We are sad that she is leaving but looking forward to continuing our GAA coaching with our new trainer Wayne.
Best of luck Nicky and thank you for everything; from all of us in 2a! This week we have been learning all about trees. Today we went on a leaf hunt around the school. In groups, we collected as many different leaves as possible, we then went back to our classroom to examine the leaves and matched them to the correct tree. We discovered that there are up to 11 types of trees around St. Cronan's. We then used the leaves to create beautiful leaf rubbings!
There was great excitement in room 2a today when Dublin footballers Paul Flynn, Darren Daly and three members of the ladies team visited St. Cronan's with the Sam Maguire.
