We celebrated Diwali, the feastival of light, in our classroom. In P.E we did a little dance and in art we made a lovely picture.
We have been learning about different types of homes in Geography. We made our own houses by cutting out pictures from magazines and pasting objects you find around the house into their correct rooms.
Teacher used the projector to draw our silhouettes. It was great fun seeing how all our shadows looked different and unique. See if you can spot your silhouette above..
Today we went out to the yard and we drew each others silhouettes with chalk. We had great fun. Here are some pictures of our lovely class painting our spooky Halloween lanterns. Meet Harry our hedgehog. We have been collecting leaves, pine cones, acorns, twigs and lots more for Harry as he prepares for his long sleep in winter. Harry will be hibernating in our classroom during the winter months and we will be making a nice home for him in our classroom where he can rest. We better make sure we're extra quiet during the winter months.
Here we are busy doing our morning activities. They help us improve our English and Maths. |
