We are learning about electricity. We did experiments with static electricity........we stuck balloons to the ceiling, picked up pieces of paper with a pen and made our hair stand on end!!!

Neil Armstrong

  • We have been learning about Neil Armstrong.
  • On the 20th of July 1969 he became the first man to walk on the moon.
  • A Saturn 5 rocket blasted him into space in a space ship called Apollo 11.
  • He was joined by two other astronauts called Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins.

"Thats one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind"

Tom Crean was a famous Irish explorer. He was born in Co. Kerry. He went to Antartica on 3 occasions.
Upon his return he opened a bar and can you see what he called it???
