We have been reading The Twits by Roald Dahl and we are going to be writing our own stories about horrible characters like Mr. and Mrs. Twit. Today we got into groups and made characters! We gave them and name and wrote down some information about them.

Our Maths Challenge this week was all about rugby!
In the game a rugby a try is worth 5 points and a penalty kick is worth 3 points. If Ireland scored 37 points in a match how many tries and penalties would that be? Bonus Question: We learned about materials that are opaque and transparent. Opaque materials don't let light pass through them and they are great for making shadow puppets!
Our show and tell topic this month was "Artefacts from other places". We saw things from all over the world! Here are some of them Hayleigh brough in coins from Australia. Mr, Brady showed us money from America and from Kenya.
This week we learned how to ask someone if they saw something in Irish (as gaeilge).
An bhfaca tú Spongebob aréir? (Did you see Spongebob last night?) Chonaic mé Spongebob ( I saw Spongebob) Ní fhaca mé Spongebob ( I didn't see Spongebob) Well done Kyle who won for the second time. Maith Thú
