Phonics /oa/ sound

20/1/2014

This week we are doing the sound /oa/
Put your hand up to your mouth as though something has surprised you and say 'oa'

Sound out the /oa/ words and sentences in your hardcover notebook.
Here are some /
oa/ words to read:
goat
road
moan
float
roast
coast
toast
boat

Joan put a goat on the boat. It did not float.

Parents/guardians
- you can call out a word/ sentence and see if your child can sound it out and write it down without looking at the word.
