The children in 2nd class are working very hard. Have a look at our timetable today. We learn lots and lots every day!
We were looking at and discussing Picasso's paintings today. Some children loved how unusual they looked with the shapes and colours Picasso used. Take a look at our Picasso inspired self portraits.
Last week in science we were learning about the human skeleton. The skeleton supports and protects us and enables us to move! We can name lots of important bones in the skeleton such as the skull, ribs, pelvis, spine and humerus bone.
In art we selected different pasta shapes which resembled bones to make a skeleton.
Welcome to all the girls and boys in Room 2A. The children have been working very hard since they started 2nd class.
Today in Religion we were talking about friendship. We are all friends in room 2A so we made a friendship web with a ball of wool. This shows how we are all connected. We enjoy singing 'Circle of Friends'.
