On Friday 22 March we celebrated World Book Day. All the children dressed up as their favouite book characters and the whole school had DEAR time (Drop Everything And Read). Mrs Whelan had prepared a special presentation on Fairytales for us in the hall and we all sang and danced to the song "There was a Princess Long Ago"
We had a great time when Ms Giblin came to our classroom - she taught us lots of lovely things. On the day before the Ester Holidays we made Easter nests using melted chocolate and shredded wheat. We learned all about what happens when things melt and saw what happened when you add water to melted chocolate.
We also started Literacy Stations in March - these are - Word Families, Sight Words, Word Building, Letter Formation and Story Writing
