Healthy Lunches

Our Active Committee are our Lunch Inspectors. Here in St. Cronan's J.N.S., we have a healthy lunch policy. We have traffic lights on the doors of all our classrooms, so that we can see how healthy we are!
Tips on how to keep your traffic lights green:
- Sandwiches.
- Yogurts.
- Cheese.
- Fruit.
- Raw vegetables. (e.g. celery or carrot sticks)
- Sultanas.
- Raisins.
- Homemade food.
- Drinks: water, milk or 100% fruit juice.
Fruit Friday:
Every year we have Fruit Fridays, where children receive fruit. The parents from the parents committee prepare the fruit for the children.
