EIrcom Junior SPiders Awards

On the 5th March 2013 our school was awarded the Eircom Junior Spiders Award for Best School Website in Ireland!

It was a great honour to win the award and it could not have been achieved without the hard work of our staff and support of our parents and pupils!

This is what the judging panel had to say about our website:
“This is an excellent website! Its bright, colourful, engaging and child-friendly but it also contains all the important information that parents and prospective parents need to know. This website makes things like school policies, school ethos, Board of Management membership etc clearly accessible to all.
On top of this it paints a wonderful picture of life at St Cronan's, jam-packed with photos and details of what's going on in the classroom; from studies of the work of the artist Kandinsky to scientific experiments on making rain and rainbows, through to grandparent visits and book reviews posted by pupils. All of the above is presented in a well designed setting, easily navigated and most attractively presented. The overall impression given by this website is of an open, organised, and happy school. Well done!”
