Drop Everything and Dance: (D.R.O.P)

Every Friday we have 'Drop Everything and Dance'. Our first dance is the Macarena.
Dance is a very important strand in the PE curriculum and one which most children really enjoy. Dance gets everybody up and moving! Each year we celebrate 'Seachtaine na Gaeilge' in March. There is a Céilí Mor organised in the hall. ALl the children learn Irish Dances including the Walls of Limerick and Shoo the Donkey. The children receive instruction from a professional Irish dance teacher. All the hard work leads to an enormously fun day! Every year it gets better!
